What a franchise partner takes on
A Health Total centre is a clinical service operating under a brand built on a named practitioner. That places obligations on a partner that an ordinary retail franchise does not.
The commercial side is straightforward: premises, a team, local marketing within the brand framework, and day-to-day operations. The clinical side is where the standards sit, and they are set centrally.
What is provided
The clinical protocols
Assessment, plan construction, review cadence and escalation criteria — the method itself.
Training and certification
For every clinician at the centre, with periodic recertification.
Systems
Patient records, the assessment instrument, body composition protocols and reporting.
Brand and marketing framework
Including the compliance rules that govern every claim made locally.
Clinical support
Access to the central team for complex cases and for escalation.
Ongoing audit
Periodic review of clinical standards at the centre. This is a condition, not an option.
What is not negotiable. No outcome claim may be made locally that is not substantiated by the audited outcome report. No advertising may breach the Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act 1954. Only qualified, registered clinicians may consult. Patient data is handled under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. A partner who is uncomfortable with any of these should not proceed, and it is better for both sides to establish that now.
