Programme
Skin & Hair Programme
For acne, hair fall and a skin barrier that has stopped behaving. Built on the few mechanisms the evidence genuinely supports, and clear about the many it does not.
Is this the right programme for you?
It probably is if…
- Acne that persists into adult life, particularly with irregular cycles
- Diffuse hair fall you have not had investigated
- Skin dryness or a barrier that reacts to everything
- You want the nutritional contribution assessed alongside dermatological care
It probably is not if…
- You want a replacement for dermatological treatment — this runs alongside it
- You have patchy or scarring hair loss, which needs a dermatologist first
- You want a result within a fortnight; skin and hair cycles do not move that fast
What is included
Testing that finds the usual answers
Ferritin, thyroid function with free T3, vitamin D, vitamin B12, zinc, and where relevant the markers for insulin resistance — which is the mechanism behind a great deal of adult acne.
Glycaemic load, addressed properly
The best-supported dietary factor in acne. It works through insulin and androgen signalling, which is also why acne and PCOS travel together.
A personal dairy trial where indicated
The evidence associates skim milk and whey protein with acne, not whole milk or curd. That is a trial worth running for eight to twelve weeks, not a permanent restriction to adopt on principle.
Barrier support
Essential fatty acids, protein adequacy and zinc — the structural inputs, rather than a claim about glow.
An honest timeline
A follicle cycle takes weeks and hair regrowth follows the same cycle that produced the delay. Twelve weeks is a fair trial. Anything faster is describing something other than how skin and hair work.
A named clinician
The same nutritionist throughout, with credentials published on this site.
How it runs
-
1
Free consultation
A clinician establishes the pattern — diffuse or patterned, cyclical or constant — because that decides whether this is nutritional at all.
-
2
Testing
The markers that most often explain it, rather than a broad panel.
-
3
Correction and dietary change
What is low gets corrected; glycaemic load gets restructured. Both, not one.
-
4
Support
WhatsApp access to your dietician, and a realistic account of when to expect change.
-
5
Review at twelve weeks
The first point at which a judgement is worth making.
The first consultation is free.Nine questions first, so the clinician has your numbers before you speak.
Start my free assessmentWhat it costs
Programmes start from an indicative ₹1,000–1,500 per week on a longer commitment. The exact figure depends on duration and what your assessment shows, and the first consultation is free either way.
We publish a range rather than withholding it, because a price you cannot find is a reason to leave.
Results
No outcome figures are published on this page. Under the ASCI Healthcare Guidelines a rate, timeline or success percentage is an advertising claim requiring an audited outcome report to substantiate it. Ours is in preparation. Your clinician will discuss what is realistic for you at the free consultation.
Questions we are asked
Does oily food cause acne?
No. Dietary fat does not transfer to sebum in that way, and the belief has not held up. Glycaemic load has considerably better evidence, which is a different and more actionable finding.
Will cutting dairy clear my skin?
For some people, reducing skim milk and whey protein helps. The evidence is associative and the effect modest, so we treat it as a personal trial rather than a rule — and we weigh what removing dairy costs you in calcium.
How long before I see a change?
Around twelve weeks for skin, and three to six months for hair, because both follow cycles that cannot be hurried. We will not quote you a faster figure and we would be wary of anyone who does.
Can nutrition treat my hair loss?
It can correct deficiencies that cause or worsen it, and for diffuse hair fall that is frequently the answer. Patterned or patchy loss is genetic or autoimmune and belongs with a dermatologist. Part of the consultation is telling you which one you appear to have.
What does it cost?
Priced by duration, with the exact figure depending on what your assessment shows. The first consultation is free. See the pricing page for the indicative range.
