Where we stand. Homeopathy is a recognised system of medicine in India, regulated under the AYUSH framework and practised by registered practitioners. It is offered here as adjunctive care. We will not claim it treats or cures any condition, we will not present it as an alternative to conventional treatment, and no one at Health Total will ever advise you to stop or reduce a prescribed medicine.
How it is offered here
Homeopathy sits alongside the nutritional work as an option, not as a default. It is chosen by the patient, discussed with a registered practitioner, and recorded in the same file as everything else so that nothing is being done in parallel without the rest of the team knowing.
Where someone is under the care of a doctor for a diagnosed condition, that care continues unchanged. Our practitioners are instructed to say so, and to refer back where a symptom warrants it.
What this means in practice
Four commitments, which apply whatever else is being discussed.
Registered practitioners only
Consultations are with practitioners holding a recognised qualification and registration, and their credentials are available on request.
Never a substitute
Not for medication, not for diagnostic investigation, and not for a specialist referral where one is indicated.
No claims of cure
We do not advertise homeopathy as a treatment for any condition. That restriction exists in law and we think it is also the right position.
Referral when needed
Red-flag symptoms are referred to a doctor the same day. A practitioner who does not do that is not practising properly.
On the evidence
You are entitled to a straight answer and this is ours. The evidence base for homeopathy is contested, and systematic reviews of it have not generally supported effects beyond placebo for specific conditions.
We offer it because patients ask for it, because it is a regulated system of medicine in India with registered practitioners, and because it is delivered here in a way that cannot displace conventional care. We do not offer it because we are claiming it will treat your condition, and we would rather set that out plainly than have it inferred.
If you would prefer a purely nutritional approach, say so and that is what you will get. Nothing here is bundled.
Questions we are asked
Can I stop my medication if I start homeopathy?
No. Never change or stop a prescribed medicine except on the instruction of the doctor who prescribed it. Nobody at Health Total will advise otherwise, and if anyone does, please report it to us.
Will homeopathy cure my condition?
We make no such claim, and under the Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act 1954 such a claim would not be lawful for a long list of conditions in any case. Discuss what to expect with the practitioner directly.
Is it included in the programme fee?
No. It is a separate consultation and is charged separately. You are never required to take it as part of a nutrition programme.
Are the practitioners qualified?
Yes — recognised qualification and current registration, available on request. If a credential cannot be produced, do not proceed.
