Ingredients
- 1 tsp fennel seeds (saunf)
- 1 tsp coriander seeds (dhania)
- ½ tsp ajwain, optional
- 2 cups water
Method
Lightly crush the fennel and coriander seeds — this releases the oils.
Bring the water to a boil, add the seeds, and turn off the heat.
Cover and steep for eight minutes. Do not keep boiling, which drives off the volatile oils.
Strain and sip warm, about twenty minutes after a meal.
Comfort rather than treatment. Persistent bloating deserves a proper look.

What is going on with your digestion?
Four questions, answered in about a minute.
When does discomfort appear?
Any bloating through the day?
Has your bowel habit changed?
How often do you take an antacid or laxative?
This sounds occasional rather than established
Meal timing, fibre and fluid usually settle it.
A pattern is forming
Regular antacid or laxative use is worth reviewing — it manages the symptom rather than the cause.
This fits an established pattern
Worth proper assessment rather than continued self-medication, particularly if sleep is affected.
